Rebekkah says the right porn video will connect with a viewer’s sexual instincts in the way a key fits into a lock; in it the viewer meets the external embodiment of their unconscious fantasy, something unknown even to themselves, existing below the threshold of conscious articulation. It’s like a bee finding the right flower; to say it’s irresistible would imply some kind of choice rather than the automatic clicking of molecular tumblers into perfect place. It can always find its way inside, around or over or under repression, because it is already inside, it has in effect been there all along, waiting. She says that video is really just amplifying the unconscious fantasy closer to the level of consciousness, and thus in a sense bringing the two closer together, facilitating a kind of intercourse between the conscious and the unconscious, its effect like the inner nectar of a drug, causing subjects to begin fantasizing about it even without the video.
Regarding the experimentation with ways of stimulating psychic regression, I believe it’s possible to use video to regress a subject below the conscious constructs of their “fantasies,” and to influence and modify them at a lower organizational level, not with any therapeutic goal in mind but strictly for the purposes of increasing their sexual stimulation and response, and along with that demand for our products.
